Charlene R. Marbs

Charlene has both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration degree. She currently holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) and the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications, and the insurance designation of  Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). 

She is employed as a Senior Consultant at Slalom Consulting, LLC. She is a member of the Business Advisory Services practice, specializing in Program/Project Management. Prior to joining Slalom, she worked for State Farm Insurance for 28 years, in a variety of areas and leadership roles. As a means to gain insights into the public sector, she worked for the local non-profit, A New Leaf, for a brief time.

In addition to serving on the Board of OT Examiners, Charlene is the Board Secretary for the Million Dollar Teacher Project, and a member of the Arizona Community Foundation’s African American Women’s Giving and Empowerment Circle. She is a past volunteer of  Dress for Success-Phoenix, and served on the Maricopa County’s Foster Care Review Board.
