Regulation Rollback
We were asked by Governor Ducey’s Office to provide the following information:
“Regulation Rollback” is a strategic step in our state’s ongoing work to make Arizona the best state in the nation for businesses and consumers alike.
We’ve made great progress in growing our economy and streamlining state government over the past two years. We still have a lot of work to do to make sure outdated regulations aren’t slowing us down.
No longer will regulations remain in place “just because they’re on the books and nobody’s bothered to change them.”
Right to Petition Rules, Agency Practice, Substantive Policy Statement, or Licensing Requirement
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1033, any person may file a petition with the Governor's Regulatory Review Council for review of a final rule based on the person's belief that the final rule does not meet the requirements of A.R.S. $ 41-1030.
Important Information for OTs and OTAs
The Board has become aware that many individuals are not aware of the requirement to report misdemeanors or felonies to the Board within ten (10) working days after the charge is filed. This is most likely due to the fact that this requirement is part of the general professional requirements and therefore is not specifically spelled out in our statutes. To assure that everyone is aware of this statute the Board is providing the citation below.
32-3208. Criminal charges; mandatory reporting requirements; civil penalty
